Hey guys, hope you’ve all got that wonderful midweek feeling? Sadly the weather hasn’t really been up to much as of late but at least we haven’t been having huge deluges…
This week I have some photos from when I randomly stopped off at Historic Warwick when on my way home after a whirlwind trip to the Midlands. I was planning on taking a walk around Warwick Castle bu I decided instead to stroll around the town instead.
As usual though, here are a few ‘other’ clicks, starting with a photo I originally took last year when we met up with some friends at the Devil’s Punchbowl, an area of outstanding natural beauty just outside Hindhead in Surrey. I want to try and get back there again…this was a lonely tree that caught my eye;
The 4 shots below were taken when me and the Mrs took a stroll along the canal from the Cunning Man pub in Burghfield towards Reading town;
And so on to the main event, as it were. The town of Warwick is literally steeped in history and I will go back there again (hopefully with a bit of cash to fork out for a walk around the castle grounds!!!) but for now here are some shots of the Collegiate Church of St Mary which is as beautiful and staggering to look at inside (check out the Beauchamp Chapel) as it is outside;
Below is a shot of the East Gate, looking back towards the centre of Warwick town;
And to finish things off, a quick snap of the Lord Leicester Hospital;
And so once again we’ve come to the end of this week’s post. Again I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at the photos and please do leave me your thoughts and comments in the box, I’d love to know what you think of this and any other blog I’ve posted up.
And once more a shameless plug to let you know there are some photos available to buy, just click here to see which ones are available at the moment (I’ll be adding some more soon, I bet you can’t wait :))
There won’t be a post next week as I’ll be on holiday so don’t miss me too much hehe.
